Ok so last night i put my triop eggs in and today i seen little white speck swimming around in the water. Just a little bit ago i looked in the tank and only seen a few after earlier seeing about 25 and there is a bunch of water conditioner floating aroung on top….could they be hiding in it or are they already being cannibals?????

I was thinking on getting some. More specifically the deluxe kit. And is the volume of the kit containers good for the triops life span? If possible do you think a small 2.5 gallon tank is good for them? Is a gravel substrate Ok? Do I need a filter or heater? Is it true they’re cannibals? Can the eggs laid be hatched?
Sorry for all the questions but I want to know which conditions are ideal.

Triops are some interesting little creatures. You can find all about them on triops.com One of their characteristics is that they are cannibals… on this video a gang of 6 triops eats the remains of the one that died last night.
