they are the little eggs that you can buy at pretty much any toy store or hobby lobby?
well i had one and i know of 2 other people who have had them… both of them said that once the triops got really big, it literally disappeared!! i didnt climb out, there was no way it could have.. they were just gone one day
did this ever happen to you??
just so u know triops r from the dinosaur age and u can hatch eggs and have them as a house pet.anywayz
i wanted to hatch them but i went to the petstore and bought a 2 1/2 gallon tank and im not sure if thats the right size for triops wat would be the best size of a tank for triops???

i bought triops and i spit them with my friend he got like 10 eggs and i got the rest he got half the food and i got half and he got one conditioner bag and so did i. my problem is, i was sqeezing the conditioning bag witht out thinking and it tore. it had only soaked for 2 1/2 hours. and there is some floaties. will the eggs be okay if i add them? will they die if they eat the floaties? will they not even hatch? can i put in the fish drops that clean the water instead? please help
you know the little drops you put in the water after you clean your fish tank to make sure the water is safe? could i use those?
You know those pre-dinosaur triops that you can hatch and grow? My son’s never hatched & he’s devastated! We live with the people we rent from and they’re CONSTANTLY walking in and turning the light off, so I’m thinking that’s part of the problem (they feel it’s a fire-hazard but we only have one window in the main-room – which is behind a table covered in bells and wind-chimes hanging from the ceiling). I think that’s the only way to get the water to stay the temperature I’m looking for (slightly above room temperature) What on earth does a person have to do to make those things hatch? And why does it have to be spring water as well? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of low-cost/low-maintenence? Do they sell the food seperately?
