Triops eating ghost shrimp [bird's eye view]
I think my betta was bullying one of the ghost shrimp and killed him. The ghost shrimp laid motionless as I poked him and did not move when I net him up. Nor was he pink or white which usually meant they are dead, he was as clear as can be. I put him in the Triops tank, not wanting him to go to waste and as a Triops snatched him up I saw him move his swimmerets very weakly. I fell really bad now, but there was nothing I could do to save his life even if I took him away from the Triops. T_T
One of my Triops sheds its exoskeleton and, unfortunately, all of the eggs in its egg pouches :{ You can see a bunch of the eggs getting sucked right into the filter. :/ I immediately unplugged the filter and managed to salvage some of the eggs that were still stuck to the exoskeleton, but most of them were lost. Yes, that is the Cowboys-Eagles playoffs game in the background. Yes, the Cowboys destroyed the Eagles. And yes, that is me whispering “No, no, no, no,” in horror at 0:22.

Triops and Fairy Shrimp eating
-Triops & Fairy Shrimp. Incase you want to know, Triops have 3 eyes, and obviously hundreds of legs. I also used to have about 300 Daphnia in there. Multiplied from 3 in a week. Then they got eaten when the next batch of Triops hatched. They were only up to 3 mm big. Looked like some sort of parasite. Whatever you do (if you have “Aquasoars”), don’t put them in a fish aquarium. Either they’ll get eaten, or your fish will. As I mentioned, these Triops aren’t even half size, and they grow FAST.
