Triops are freaky little creatures that resimble a horseshoe crab. Yet their eggs can stay dry for 100′s of years and re-hydrate once wet again and hatch! Any how we got some at a local hobby store and dropped them into some clean water and with in days they hatched. This Triop Queen was the last one left after a battle of “big Triops eats small Triop”.

My baby triops hatched a few days ago…along with a few sea monkeys, and I am in love with them already! I’m hoping they make it to be adults!
