A strange thing hatched in my Triops kit?
I bought this triops kit from a website, and weird things hatched in it. Only one of them appears to be a triops, and about 5 weird shrimp things hatched too. Are they shrimp? They’re actually kind of cute and they do cool flips, so I’m not upset about that packaging mistake. But there’s also this strange, creepy looking thing, that’s very small, white, and a bit translucent, but it’s still visible. I have no idea what it is. It has the body shape of an owl, and it has little black eyes on each side of it’s upper half. It also has what appears to be antlers, shaped like little Ys on its head, and the fan part of the Y is webbed. It doesn’t glide about the water like the others; it sort of hops about in the fishbowl. It kinda looks like a pokemon >:L What is it?
How to feed baby triops? Please help?
I’m helping my little brothers raise pet triops that they got in a kit, and some of the triops have just hatched, so I was wondering when to start feeding them.
The kit came with a packet of food pellets and the instructions from the kit say to wait two days and feed them crushed pellets, but my little brothers are freaking out because they think that the baby triops will starve if they wait two days to feed them.
I tried looking it up online, but some websites say NOT to feed them for at least three days, but others say to feed them regularly.
So, what do you think? Any answers are appreciated 
also, the packet of triops eggs that came in the kit was also filled with ‘detritus’, although I don’t know if the baby triops are actually eating that stuff.
Can you buy daphinia at walmart or petsmart?
I need them for my triops, how much daphinia does a regular packet have and how long will it last? Here is the kit where I bought it from:

Smithsonian Sea Monster Triops?
I got the Smithsonian Sea Monster Triops Kit and I noticed that it only comes with a few food pellots. Do you have to buy more food for them at the store?? Do they only live for a little while? Are they real pets?
