Initially I had 11 Triopses, now I have 5. That’s because those 6 triopses had a weird problem: They would turn over on their backs and then they were unabe to turn over again, they didn’t find enough food lying on their backs all the time and that’s why they died… I think. My tank is 30x20x20cm, which adds up to 12 litres, but there’s only like 8-10 litres of water in there. The filter is way too big for such a small aquarium, but it’s one of the smallest I could find. and it seemed fairly decent. It works just fine. It’s the EHEIM Liberty 100. Sorry about the flickering/interference and by the way, that apple snail was a huge mistake. It ate everyone of them when I was on vacation. It also made the tank bottom very slimy.

I think my betta was bullying one of the ghost shrimp and killed him. The ghost shrimp laid motionless as I poked him and did not move when I net him up. Nor was he pink or white which usually meant they are dead, he was as clear as can be. I put him in the Triops tank, not wanting him to go to waste and as a Triops snatched him up I saw him move his swimmerets very weakly. I fell really bad now, but there was nothing I could do to save his life even if I took him away from the Triops. T_T
