Triops Question am I doing this right?
Hi, I got a Triops Hatching Kit and when I opened it I realized 2 bags. One of the bags contained something that looked like parsley (Detritus I believe) and the other contained little balls like fish food. I was not sure which one was the eggs so I put the flakes in there because I read up some stuff on the internet. The detritus is floating which concerned me as I figured it would sink to the bottom. Am I doing this correctly?
Why did my scholastic triops kit hatches into sea monkeys?
please answer fast because i am really upset, i hate sea monkeys!i only want triops and is it am wrong or im right they loook like sea monkeys and have no shields like triops.
they are 4 days oldand im upset i hate sea monkeys they have no shield and looks scary and i swear i bought a sholastic triops kit.

help my triops are dieing?
i know triops dont have a long life span but i want to make sure im not causing them to die to soon…..they hatched right after xmas ….they keep swimming on their backs til they croak off one at a time……i just have them in a fish bowl with no air pump…..do they need one…..i dont have no sand in the bottom neither…..i get really confused with the info cause ….one web site said they like merky filthy water so i dont have to change the water but i dont think thats true….also they said not to put anything in the tank like plants or other fish things….thats why i didnt put in the sand…
triops are predators right?
about a year ago i had a triop kit from a scholastic club but still for some reason they died from eating each other even though the one who seems not to be the size of others were seperated it died and the others got eaten during the night propably one grew biggere over night and ate the other am i a bad raiser?
also my book said they only eat smaller ones…and well they were all same size too
