will my triops hatch?

i just bought a triops kit [one of those 'sea creature' things] and it said i have to heat the water to 22-29 degrees C for them to hatch and grow. i can’t keep the lamp on all day. if i don’t keep the lamp on all the time, will the eggs still hatch? how long should it stay on for? how long can it stay off?
The tempature in my house never drops below 22 degrees anyways, but the water feels ice cold. I’ll probably buy a flashlight, but will it have to be on all the time or will they be fine when they hatch?

Identifying Sea Creature from North Carolina?

It was on the beach in Nag’s head scuttling for the ocean. It was about the size of a baby sea turtle. It had a hard pink exoskeleton that was mottled pink with darker pink spots. It had what appeared to be insect-like legs similar to those of a triops. It had trouble rolling over when the waves knocked it on it’s back. From the distance, it looked like a baby sea turtle, but up close it looked more like a horse-shoe crab or something. It had no tail or anything.
The creature was definitely not a crab of any time. It was more insect like.
