This was my second trip to this cattle tank to check on this late-season population of triops. It was morning and cool, so I only saw a few triops digging in the shallows.
I’ve never kept triops before and I don’t know what plants are best for planting in their tank for them to eat. I don’t care what they look like so long as the triops like them.
I keep moving them away but I come back a few minutes later and they’re on the sides again. Its been a couple of days and they still haven’t hatched. Should I scrap it and start over?
Also, most people say to use distilled water, but my kit said only natural spring water would work. Maybe this is due to a difference is species? I don’t know. I just want these stupid things to hatch already.
I was thinking about just dumping the eggs in there
