I got a triops kit thing and i was wondering if it was safe to raise them in rubbermaid food containers. Im going to use the biggest one i have and i have only put fruit in it and use cascade to wash it in my dishwasher. is it safe to use for my triops? any suggestions? should i rinse it in water? if so, what kind of water?

Twi things, i just saw one of my babies tails very clear im so happy <3 also, whats with this drying and re hatching deal? what if some triops are still alive? will the eggs just get ruined if they stay in the water? also, my kit was supposed to come with a pipette to clean crap with but it came with a hole in it, what else could i use to clean? (with out water changing) btw, i know lots about triops but this is one thing i dont understand also, my triops are 3 days old and do u need a male and female for eggs?
So I got this kit for triops and after 3 days 1 triop looking thing did hatch. But then 2 of the little twitchy bug things hatched 4 days after I put the eggs in, still no more of the triops, then now on the 5th day a TON of these little twitchbugs were swimming around, and im amost positive its not triops because i looked at them under a microscope and they look like a see through bug. what are these? and are any more triops going to hatch?
i bought a Triops set it’s called Triop world… the one with the volcano. i put in some stones that came with it and some sand to lay eggs in. filled the bowl thing with water and poured in the eggs and the detrius stuff. The problem is… I CAN’T USE A LIGHT TO KEEP THEM WARM AND IN THE LIGHT! OMG! will this affect them or will they just not hatch and what do i do!
Not that I have them, or plan to eat them if ever i get some. Lol. Just a funny thing that crossed my mind. They do look like shrimps after all.
I did a search on the net about them being edible, but found nothing.
