I filmed a Triop, its scary how quickly these things grow 0_0
Sadly, this is the final video of Bidoof the Triop, as he passed away sometime after the 12th day that I filmed him. He lived for about a month, and I honestly miss him. He was a cute little guy, and he was a lot of fun. This is also my 400th video, and I feel it is fitting that Bidoof’s final appearance should occur at such a milestone. Even though it is the final video, it is also my favorite, because it is how I remember him most closely, and he is at his most active and cutest… okay, I’ll stop babbling now.
This isn’t the first day of his life, but it is the first day when I’ve seen him clearly. I was away for four days, and on the day I left he was basically microscopic. I plan on filming a short video of him on every day I see him (so, every workday) until he dies. Anyway, isn’t he adorable? The idea for his name came from Delavonboy12. It’s such an appropriate name, because he’s cute and derpy.

“This is a documentary of my triops and process” ———————————————————————————————————- The arrival of my triops and how I set it up. Mine are the Beni-kabuto ebi albino triops AKA “albino tirops”/red Triops” I hope to get the true albino from the batch and eggs.

This is the oldest of the new hatchlings. I actually found this one hatched in the tank holding the adult mother of these eggs, so I yanked it out before it became Mama’s Lunch. It has at least a full day’s growth ahead of the other eggs, as its birth is what prompted me to siphon out the eggs and get them dried for storage.
