I keep moving them away but I come back a few minutes later and they’re on the sides again. Its been a couple of days and they still haven’t hatched. Should I scrap it and start over?
Also, most people say to use distilled water, but my kit said only natural spring water would work. Maybe this is due to a difference is species? I don’t know. I just want these stupid things to hatch already.
So I bought a triops kit offline, and when I get them I’m not sure what water to put them in. Can I just use the filtered water outta my fridge and then warm it up so it’s not cold? Or do I have to get bottled water to use? I don’t wanna like get them and then they don’t hatch because I did it wrong. Any advice?
Triops Longicaudatus Days 1-2. Hatching them using the floating tank method, can’t see them in this video because they are really small but they are there 
. They are very lively already and they swim all around the tank looking for food.

Triops swimming around in my hatching tank. These are Black Beauty sp. Triops that I hatched from eggs last week. They grow very quickly, the first couple days they were about the size of a few grains of sand! Now the triops are starting to turn a darker color, they were pale-white the first couple days. Black Beauty Triops need a higher temperature then most other species, I keep the water around 82 F. I’m feeding them some shrimp pellets, and also some stale crackers, though you can pretty much feed triops anything organic.
