my triops have not hatched 24 hours later?

i previously had a triops that layed eggs, so i collected them. i would like to know if i did the correct thing in the next step (this is my question). firstly i dried the triops eggs + sand, then i frozen the sand and eggs in a air tight container for 2 days, then i added the triops to fresh water. i know they still have time to hatch but i was getting worried as all the triops i have had in the past have hatched less than 24 hours later. i can see the triops eggs on the top of the water. they are a light pink colour and a bit larger than the sand

If I have triops eggs in sand that were previously in a aquarium do I still need detritus?

I know the need for detritus but if the eggs are in sand that were in an aquarium, shouldent the sand contain all the stuff detritus contains?

If i collect sand from a aquarium with triops eggs in it?

then if i dry the sand and then add it to pure water, can i hatch the triops successfully without detritus?
i would think so since the sand should contain micro organisms and algae from the water which it was previously in, i just want to make sure it would work without having to have a bad experience, or will i have to just find out for my self? Thank you.

Where and how can i store TRIOPS eggs?

Consider that i harvested some eggs my current triops have laid, and dried them out. where can i store these dried eggs for future use? say in a few weeks, maybe even a month.

Do i need to keep the dry eggs in a certain temp? do they need to be in some sort of substrate (sand, dirt, ect)?
