my triops (aquasaurs) are upside down on the bottom of my tank and when they do move they seem to be swimming in a circle i changed the water for fresh bottled water again but they still are on there backs and some have died i have a undergravel filter and an iarstone in the tank so everything should be ok its a 12″ x 8″ glass fish tank, i never realised these are so difficult to keep

I was going to use an under gravel filter that came with a tank I bought. However I plan on having the Triops breed. Will they still lay eggs in gravel. Will the filter pump suck up and kill off the eggs? Lots of care sheets say it’s best to use an undergravel filter but none of them mention if it’s “ok” to breed with.
Triops lay atleast 10 eggs every day, and have a life span of about 2 months, so they do carry them around..but not for long…
