triops cancriformis NAUPLIUS
90% are the one day stage. Only the part with the thermometer is two day stage. You see the typical movements, even the sinking after ascending to the surface while feeding to save energy. Nauplii have three pairs of appendages at the front with which they swim. For that reason the swimming looks different from Water flea or Cyclops or Hygrobatoidea and once understood, you cannot mistake it. These are larval stages of the one seen in “digging for gold”.
Does fillted water work with triops?
ive tried using filted water for my triops and it doesent seem to be working, so i wanted to know the reason why, and if anybody els have tried it. Thanks Emma x

I live in the middle of nowhere so there is no chlorine in my water or anything like that, should I still boil it?
