What is the the white web-like stuff appearing in my triop aquarium ?? They form long webs across the water as well as around the food on the bottom.

Is it bacteria ?? Why did it form ? Arent we supposed to feed the Triops the food that came with the packet ?

Is it dangerous ? can I remove it ?

i bought a Triops set it’s called Triop world… the one with the volcano. i put in some stones that came with it and some sand to lay eggs in. filled the bowl thing with water and poured in the eggs and the detrius stuff. The problem is… I CAN’T USE A LIGHT TO KEEP THEM WARM AND IN THE LIGHT! OMG! will this affect them or will they just not hatch and what do i do!

I got triops for christmas (I realise they are supposed to be for kids, not grown ups). The box said they live for up to a month. I had one hatch and I’ve had him for over 3 months now. Is he a world record?

i am interested in keeping triops in my pond. i know that they are naturally found all around the world, and can live through drouts(bad spelling) and probably can live through the winter(because of there eggs) is this possible?
my pond is full of rain water, i allready have gold fish in the lower part and plan on getting triops for the top.i have a turtle with the fish so he wont be able to get to them.
