Can triops lay eggs in gravel?

I have some triops in a 5 gallon tank with about 2 cm of gravel in it. It is colord gravel and i found out that it could be toxic after i put it in the aquarium but after three days all 3 of them seem to be fine. Also 2 of the triops were raised in a seperate container than the other one and the one raised by itself is at least twice the size of the other 2. Do you think my triops will still lay eggs? I am planning on hatching them. Thanks alot

  1. Just an illusion

Basically, yes. They like the grains to be small (like sand, for digging in) but I’m still quite sure they will lay eggs in gravel.

Sorry I can’t answer in more detail, but some things about Triops are unknown to anyone.

I explained more on your other question.

    Good luck. :)
