Could add some adult triops to my fish tank?

I have a 50 gallon fish tank with:
5 platys
1 molly
2 glass catfish
2 glo-lite tetras
3 bloodfin tetras
3 neon tetras
7 large platy fry

the glass cats might eat them and I thought that triops can onaly be in spring water?

You can. I did as well (triops are fun) , but just make sure that they have plenty of places to hide and hang out in. A few of your fish might try to nip at them, and if your fish have larger mouths than the triops and if they can swallow them whole, then they will. Other than that you’re fine. Good luck!
