i have a box we have yet to hatch. I am waiting for our weather to cool down-the water must be kept at 73 degrees, and with the florida heat, our a/c is too cold for them now.
Yes, once when I was younger, there was a bunch of other difference things not just one. But the ones that hatched first ended up eating the younger ones until there was only one left. Then I made the mistake of letting my cat see it and she knocked the bowl over and it ended up dying.
Yea, I really liked them a lot.
Very easy to take care of. I’d reccomend buying a ten gallon fishtank to use instead of the little bucket they give you. There’s more room for the little guys to grow. Also, there’s not enough room in the little bucket they give you for all of the triops that usually hatch, so some end up getting eaten by their buddies. Check out this site, it’s great for triops and sea monkeys. Lots of pictures, really good links, and friendly people that will answer your questions. Chances are that someone has already asked your question, though, so look through the old messages. http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/triopsforever/links
