add 3-5 liters distilled water into the tank at room temperature.DO NOT USE SALT WATER OR TAP WATER give ample amounts of air (air pump preferable) and light. within 2-14 days, pink nauplius larvae will hatch, rapidly molting and developing. triops can reach a maximum size of 11 cm in 2 months time. good luck and have fun

It usually depends on your fish if it has other mates then it can produce and lay eggs. Also look at other websites for more informations.
Also make sure water conditions are good.
