How fast do triops grow?
I bought one of those kits to grow your own triops, and they’ve already hatched into lots of little white squirmy things and are exploring.
But they’re extremely small! How long will it take them to reach normal size?

Triops are extremely fast growing but have a short lifespan averaging 60 days but can be 90+ days. For mine it took about a week to 2 weeks. It all depends on how well you feed and take care of them. And whats really neat is that once they lay eggs in sand you can dry it out and wait 3 weeks to 15 years to hatch there offspring. And mine that survived the longest got small carrot shreds and some small pond snails every once and a while.
Kept 2 generations of triops
