It has to be a some what shallow tank and it has to be really warm… like 80 degrees….

You should have triops by now. 25 hours after hatchling tripos are fully formed and start to grow. By 8 days you should see them. Some kind of condition must not be right in your hatchling container and they’re either not hatched or cannot hatch.
This is a totally awesome website to look through: http://mytriops.com/ I really recommend looking at most/all the articles starting from square one to see if you can narrow down where you’re current problem may have occured.
In the meantime, I would if you’re sure there’s no activity from hatched babies, allow the water to evaporate and the container to dry out. Then add water and start again.
