Triops are awesome! I’ve hatched them a couple of times. No, you can’t really separate the eggs from the dirt/debris. After you’re sure that they’ve all hatched, you could use a fine strainer to strain it out. As I recall, it just settled to the bottom though and didn’t cause a problem.
They’re awesome little creatures! Enjoy!
