is there any point in trying to raise triops in england?

they need warmth to survive and with our british weather its hard work! should i just give up and sell the remainder of the triops eggs i bought?

it was amazing keeping triops but mine ALWAYS die at 8days old. i hatched out about 20 in one packet- good, but not if they dont last! at 8 days old they are hardly visible! are they dying because i gave them a water change? i didnt change all the water and the water was either rain water or reated tap water, either way i got the same result- dead triops!

I must qualify my answer. I have never raised any and I am hardly a neophyte. But, since I have been reading up on them lately for my children I will give you a few answers that may help. They need their water temp around 70 degrees and dechlorinated. You should not need to do a water change within 8 days. Below is a site that gives good info from one that knows more about the little creatures. I would not give up yet. Good luck.
