About the only thing that you can do yourself is raise the temperature in the tank a couple of degrees. Try to explain to your parents and grandparents that your turtle is dying and requires veterinary care, at least one injection of antibiotics. Would they prefer a trip to the vet or a dead turtle and a tank that requires decontamination?
