How long does it take for them to hatch once you add the nutrients? I have a 10 gallon cycled tank, how many could I have in there at once, if any? Do they need a heater, my temp with out a heater is 68-70 degrees? What do you feed them? What are their life spans? Will the reproduce in captivity? Any other info I will need to keep them? What stores sell them?

We started our Triop eggs 3 days ago, and they hatched this morning!!
The tank temp should be at least 74 F degrees, so you should heat your tank with a heater, otherwise they are not going to hatch. I have a small container and heated it with a 60 watt light bulb and it keeps the temp @ 82 F degrees.
You can feed them the food that comes with the starter pack (follow directions thoroughly)
and they also eat small bits of carrot and cauliflower after they are grown a bit. This will make them get alot bigger than pellet food alone!
Their life cycle is about 90 days, they will prob reproduce during this time, but they are also asexual, so you dont have to worry about having males and females.
They are so awesomer! Way better than sea monkeys!
