im planning to buy a triop kit tomorrow..but i heard and saw a video from youtube , that they eat each….so how do you prevent it?…do i need to feed them something else aside from the feed provided on the box

just to tell you i been dealing with aquariums for quiet a while now and i tried to hatch triops numerous times and it was never successful. um they rarely eat each other, just feed them the 2nd day the are alive by taking 2 spoons and 2 different color triop foods and crush it and feed half of that to them. by the 5th week feed them 2 whole triop food things. by the 8th day of their survival take out the nutrition bag and clean 25% of the water.
