Report Spam/Abuse
If only I could afford a huge tank to put them in

@SgtHamster45 not all the eggs hatch. A lot of them do and everytime I’ve done it if its in a decent sized tank theres still usually 30+ adults. And you don’t have to put all the sand back aswell. My brother actually collected the sand and sold loads of packets of it on ebay lol.

@Spongeb0bSqu4repants
u put all the sand back? thats like…a million eggs=a million triop babies that will die=a few survivors
Report Spam/Abuse
@SgtHamster45 you don’t. once the triops are dead just extract the sand and then dry it. leave it for 2-3 weeks or put it in a container and ure boiler or summet and once it dries you can just add water and more triops will grow. U usually get more sucess this way then just using eggs from the kit as well just use sum new water mixed with some old tank water.

How do you collect the eggs from the sand? What is your method?
Report Spam/Abuse
raw carrots?
Report Spam/Abuse
@Alessandrominis nah thats probably talking about the triops food supplied with the kit. And its not overfeeding its more if you give them too much then the food will go uneaten and make the water dirty which is why you only feed them a little bit at first. Once they get bigger put in small pieces of carrots.
Report Spam/Abuse
there is no overfeeding risk? because the instructions of my kit said that if I feed too much my longicaudatus they will explode!
Report Spam/Abuse
@Spongeb0bSqu4repants ok thank’s. You know, I’ve had a few longicaudatus this year and last year, but nothing more than two or three triops per time. how did you get all those ones in just one time
??
Report Spam/Abuse
@Alessandrominis chopped up carrots, main things I used to feed them were this pellet food, carrots (mainly) and worms
Report Spam/Abuse
they’re a lot! how do you feed them? what’s that orange “thing” on the bottom of the tank?
Report Spam/Abuse
aww, i got some yesterday but the havnt hatched yet
Report Spam/Abuse

@Bleach0190 sea monkeys live 1 to 2 years.
Report Spam/Abuse
wait where can u get em
Report Spam/Abuse
ooooww very pretty :3
Report Spam/Abuse
@manu4455 Well, it depends on your currency. Triops are harder to take care of and live for about 1-2 months, while sea monkeys are easier. I don’t know how long sea monkeys live, though.
Report Spam/Abuse
I say triops sea monkeys are representing monkeys with gills

@Goop023 triassic creatures whos eggs are still found. and let me tell ya, there must of be ALOT left.
Report Spam/Abuse
@Maxdg1013 human babies should be like this so we will never be extinct =D
Report Spam/Abuse
@awsumpwnage99 No. The eggs stayed on earth for that many years, without hatching. They stay fertile forever, and don’t hatch ’till they come in contact with water.
Report Spam/Abuse
@awsumpwnage99 yes…. yes you do
Report Spam/Abuse
do i have to go back in time 3 million years ogo to get one?
Report Spam/Abuse
@Figzlikesvidz If you try to grab them, they usually swim away, but if you just put one finger into the water, they sometimes suck on it. xD (doesn’t hurt or something though)
Report Spam/Abuse
what happens if u were to try to grab one of these things?
Report Spam/Abuse
one day there was a small one and a big one:) the next day the small one was gone:(

@rangerjmt
