    Well, found in nature only in very special places. In lakes which can refill water on a regular basis, so that the eggs are trapped in the mud, which can survive up to 200 years until the lake refills itself. Then the eggs hatch and can be reproduced again. Near my house there is a small lake that is populated by triops only 1 time per year: Melianta, near Banyoles, Girona, Spain.

    hey um nice triops and i ahve excact same tank. but mine dint hatch yet. i put them today and do i actualy need to turn on a light 72 hours!?!? cuz my parents wont let. i turn it on and off to amke sure temp doesnt go over 29 degrees celcuis or lowwer than 22. did u use light for 72 hours straight? answer back please!
