i’m a big fish guy, and i think it would be fun to have a few of these on the side. the ambient water temp in my fish room is a steady 21-22, and my tap water is hard and alkaline (good for anything with a chitin skelleton). could i set up a little tank (~1′ by 1′) and not have to worry about a filter and heater? i could do weekly or more frequent water changes easily, and i’m no neophyte when it comes to aquatics (10 years with fish, 6+ tanks). thanks for everything.
are these those little things i always see at the beach? they look JUST like em. they freak me out cuz they tickle your feet, and if u bury yourself in the sand, you might find some in places nothing should ever be in.
i had some triops and they are pretty cool!
i also had sea monkeys too, i was disapointed that they dont look anything like they do on the box though. lol
I think so because T.longicaudatus would have been darker in color.

actually these are very small. so no these arent the things on the beach. the things on the beach are called horseshoe crabs or spider crabs.
