  1. nice setup! how long have the triops been in there? I tried to do this myself but it killed injured neon tetra, i looked and found him eating it

  2. Triops have been hatched in a nursery/hatchery in the tank and once they were around 6 weeks old we’ve let them out with the rest of the fish. We had two and one died at he age of 10 weeks and the other at 13 weeks They never seem to bother tetras or any other fish in the tank at all and just were scavenging around for food. I was more concerned on frogs eating them but no such thing happened. I’m upgradin tank at the moment and might try triops in a community tank again – they were quite fun.

  4. from local aquatic shop. They are african dwarf frogs and they are lovely. Sometimes they sing. And male manages to grab on female a lot recently so there are plenty of scattered eggs around
