    Um, well according to wikipedia.org, its either a greek word that means “three eyes” or a type of shrimp.

    But I should warn you, if you’re thinking of it for a baby name, the Triop shrimp are often sold to kids as pets. So, like, that could be kinda embarrassing… having the same name and all. You know, so like if you’re approaching your kid’s bedroom and call out, “Hey Triop!” and the kid and shrimp both respond, “Yes?” and then you have to say “no, I meant Triop-” and the last name, to specify you’re talking to your kid, but then the shrimp is all offended…

    Just might get complicated.

    Oh unless you’re kid is going to be born with 3 eyes, then it would be perfect.
