did you change it with chlorinated or copper tainted water?
I raised mine to adulthood without a single water change. just too many deadly variables.

same thing happened to my triops, i called the company, and they said that the triops were suffering from a rare disease, that was caused by the eggs,
1. being old,
2. exposed to extremly dirty water
3. a faulty batch.
it isn’t your fault, they are just suffering from the birth disorder.
i hope this helps

What was in the water like an ornament or a plant?
Did you use pure water free of minerals?
Did you find them half dead after changing the water?
One of my triops died because it failed a molt and was stuck so it suffocated. I tried to help it but it was squirming. Then it was slowly moving its fins and died.
If you changed more than 50 % of the dirty water and replaced it with clean water suddenly then they are suffering from osmotic pressure and not many longicatis triops survive from this.
Triops cancriformis are immune to osmotic pressure and these triops are special and can only be bought from Dadasis on ebay.
How many triops were upside down?
If the majority were upside down then they are all going to die.
You could take out 70 percent of the water and shake it really hard and put it back into the tank.
THey could be suffocating.
There should be algae in the tank or a plant because the yellow coulour is caused by ammonium and plant and aglae use up ammonium,

The EXACT same happened to me!
They were 2 weeks old, I changed the water (and i deffo did it all properly) and came inside and they were up-side-down with their fins wiggling… !
I think it comes down to the fact that they aren’t supposed to be captivated.
Odd… Very odd… I’m going to hatch some more soon and I WILL get to the bottom of this !!!
