i had some triops a little while ago, i had to constantly keep them under a lamp, but they couldnt get to hot or cold, as soon as the temperature drops, the really young ones die and they move a lot slower, i used bottled water to clean them out every so often and the food comes with the pack. i didnt really think they were worth keeping.
