   Go to Walmart. That’s wear I got mine. I used regular tap water. And the one at Walmart is pretty cheap and it comes with a booklet and food. And you can put your sea monkeys in thoes. As long as there aren’t any big fish if you plan on keeping them for pets.

   Try eBay, there are always cheap sets on there.
   If you have an ‘Argos’, then try that as well, that’s where I got mine.

   Yes, you can put sea monkeys in a 10 gal or 1 gal tank/ bowel, but 1g would be better as sea monkeys really are small.

   When the triops have just hatched you can’t put them in 10 gal, as they won’t find food and probably will all die. 1g is best for baby triops.
   Although it depends on what shape it is as well… Triops don’t do well in bowels as they need alot of floor space and rarely swim off the bottom of the tank.

   So, put the eggs in the 1g with say, 5cm of water, and when they get to around 5mm or so move them into the 10g, and use the 1g to hatch sea monkeys

   You can feed sea monkeys to your triops!

   As for the water, distilled is best, whatever people say. Boil the water in your kettle, microwave, cooker, it doesn’t matter, as long as the chlorine evaporates, it will be safe for triops.
   Alternatively, you can use rain water, a water conditioner or spring (bottled) water if you must.

   You can buy triops eggs and food at walmart.
   I live in Australia and don’t have wal mart but everyone I’ve heard of says that they can be bought at walmart. We use the metric system here. The one with litres, centimetres and so on.
   Seamonkeys are saltwater creatures. They cannot live in the pure water that triops live in. They will last for about 6 hours in pure water . They are called brine shrimp which means saltwater shrimp. The seamonkeys salinity level is 2-3 table spoons of sea salt or table salt non ionised in 1 litre of water….about 1/4 of a gallon…..i think……
   The triops like about 4 litres to 20 litres-1 gallon to 4 gallons…i think..
   There is another species of shrimp that are freshwater. They are fairy shrimp and can be bought at ebay. They look exactly the same as seamonkeys.
   The triops will still eat the seamonkeys but be sure to let the seamonkey swim around the triops tank for a while b4 a triops eats it because the seamonkey needs to absorb the clen nonsalty water.

   Sea monkeys like less than a litre and a lot of height in their container. less than 1/4 of a gallon…..i think….
   Triops should be hatched out in a litre or more with very little amount of height and a lot of width and length. about 1 -2 inches of height.
