Personally I have never changed the water in any other my aquariums, but I use twice the amout of filters that I’m supposed to use and I use long airstones to help circualate the bad stuff around until that filter pics it up.My tanks look great and are crystal clear and I have also live plants that grow at a fantastic rate. Also there is some stuff that you can buy at your petshop that will help clear up a cloudy tank. That’s interesting using brine shrimp to help to help eat the algae, and bacteria, I’ll have to try that. Thank you and good luck.

it is cycling, your tank is going through a process in which bad bacteria turns into very good bacteria. use a siphon to change the water weekly and make sure you run tests to see if all the parameters are normal again. take care

I used ironised water the type you use for car batterys distiled my water also has gone cloudy, its been that way 2 days now and my baby triops are alive so i did not change the water, i may nexttime use Spring water but i think the cloudyness is just from the triop egg pack food or something in with them..
